Iloilo City- In a significant move towards enhancing public service, the Department of Tourism Region VI, in partnership with the Police Regional Office VI, conducted the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) training for selected police officers across the provinces and cities of Western Visayas. The training was led by Mrs. Angeles E. Gabinete, a Regional FBSE Trainer, who brought her expertise to equip the participants with essential skills and knowledge.
This initiative, championed by the Police Regional Office 6, successfully produced 47 graduates who are now well-versed in the principles of the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence. These officers are expected to embody the “Mabuhay” and “Salamat” gestures in their daily interactions, thereby promoting a culture of warm and respectful service within their communities. The training was graced by high-ranking officials from various provinces, who are committed to cascading these values throughout their respective stations.
In his closing remarks, PMAJ Ronnel L. Bayaban emphasized the long-term benefits of this training, noting that it aligns perfectly with the core values of the Philippine National Police (PNP). He expressed confidence that the values imparted during the training would contribute to the professional and ethical development of the officers, ultimately leading to a more dedicated and community-oriented police force.
The Department of Tourism is enthusiastic about sharing this transformative experience not only with its stakeholders but also with officials and frontliners. The goal is to create a safer and more enjoyable environment for both locals and visitors in Western Visayas, enhancing the region’s reputation as a top destination in the Philippines.
