𝗢𝗖𝗗-𝗡𝗖𝗥 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗠𝗙𝗙 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁

Manila- The Office of Civil Defense National Capital Region (OCD-NCR) deployed personnel from its Operations Section to assist in the monitoring of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Float Parade and Free Concert, which formed part of the kick off activities for the 51st MMFF.

Personnel from the NCRPO, MMDA, BFP-NCR, Pasay DRRMO, and Makati DRRMO were also present to ensure public safety, security, and orderly conduct of the event, including the protection of participating artists and spectators.

To strengthen inter-agency coordination, OCD-NCR activated its Virtual Emergency Operations Center (VEOC) to facilitate real time coordination among MMDRRMC Response Clusters and adjacent LGUs in the event that augmentation is required.

Despite scattered rains and high crowd density in key areas, no untoward incidents were reported.
