KALIBO, Aklan-Atty. Annyka Frances Beatriz D. Borda and Ross Anthony S. Borda of Kalibo, Aklan, have deepened their loveโ€”not just for each other but also for local farmersโ€”by crafting an innovative solution to farmersโ€™ struggles.
The young couple founded Anitaโ€™s, a homegrown enterprise based in Kalibo, Aklan, specializing in supply chain business solutions. In December 2022, the enterprise won the Young Farmers Challenge Supply Chain Category for its outstanding contributions.
Anitaโ€™s mission is to be a service-oriented business that prioritizes quality products while embodying the dedication and hard work of farmers, ultimately making a meaningful impact on their lives and those of its customers. Its vision is to create opportunities for the agricultural sector by promoting efficient production, reducing waste, and showcasing farmers’ produce.
Currently, Anitaโ€™s is expanding its product line to include nutritious snack options such as veggie burgers, veggie nuggets, and veggie lumpia. By incorporating widely available ingredients like banana blossoms, sweet potatoes, potatoes, carrots, and eggplants, the brand aims to provide consumers with healthier alternatives while supporting the farmers who supply these raw materials.
