The turnover of the cheque symbolizes the commitment to support the cooperativeโ€™s efforts, while the groundbreaking ceremony officially commenced the future construction of the facility, which is expected to enhance the capacity and productivity of Lanaoโ€™s local swine industry.

โ€œNalipay ko sa welcome message ni Chairman Cellona kay welcome kaayo nila ang atong project inubanan sa supporta sa atong local government. The project will not exist, will notย  prosper and flourish and be sustainable kung sila lang ang association. Since team effort nato ni, kinahanglan sad nato ang PVO, ang LGU , ang PAO because among nakita sa among previous project, BAYANIHAN pa to sya, dili pa INSPIRE sa Cabanglasan, very successful ang ilang project because of team effort. The SIRP aims to support the recovery of the swine industry, which was severely affected by the African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak since 2019. The project complements the ongoing Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (INSPIRE), which has been helping increase swine production since 2022.

โ€œSIRP focuses on increasing breeder populations, enhancing livelihood clusters, developing native pig production, and enforcing biosecurity measures. The project also includes establishing finisher/fattening facilities with a capacity of 40 to 80 heads, complete with perimeter fencing, feed storage, and shower areas.
