Aklan Politicians to Elevate this 2025 Polls

KALIBO, Aklan- Several Aklan politicians are said to elevate  from their current posts come 2025 synchronized and national elections.

First in the lists is former and undefeated Governor Florencio Miraflores. Reports indicate that he may contest against his’ ‘soulmate ‘ ‘second district congressman Teodorico Haresco in the said posts.

As this develops, a Filipino-Chinese businessman affiliated with Miraflores is also reportedly to run against Haresco in the said post. Also possible to elevate is Kalibo Mayor Juris Bautista-Sucro who is being groomed to run into congressional seat in the first district. His opponent also to be elevated is Jess Marquez, the son of the incumbent first district congressman Carlito Marquez.

The young Marquez is currently the chief of staff of Carlito., For vice governor, Tangalan incumbent mayor Gary Fuentes would likely clash against  Balete Mayor Dexter Calizo.

In Kalibo, Councilor Phillip Yerro-Kimpo has reportedly received offers from various sectors to for vice mayor. Kimpo currently is in his last term as a local legislator.

In Numancia, Aklan, Era Templonuevo may run in lieu of his husband incumbent mayor Jeserel Templonuevo. While in Buruanga, third termer councilor Alan Dagohoy will clash against the returning Quezon Labindao.

Earlier, the BINN reported that Yapak Village chair Hector Casidsid is running against incumbent mayor Frolibar Bautista.
