CARD Indogrosir opens 100th branch in Cavite to continue empowering local sari-sari stores

Trece Martires- CARD Indogrosir Inc., the grocery distributor arm of CARD MRI in partnership with Indonesia’s Salim group, opened its 100th branch in Trece Martires, Cavite on July 31, 2026, serving local households and microentrepreneurs.

As commercial convenience stores and shopping marts continue to expand across urban communities, CARD Indogrosir’s 100th store is strategically located in Trece Martires to help sari-sari store owners stay competitive. By providing wholesale products at lower prices, the branch expects to serve over 2,000 sari-sari store owners and other related businesses in the area.

Sari-sari stores remain essential to daily Filipino life, offering tingi (small-quantity) purchases and informal credit for families trying to stretch tight budgets. Beyond convenience, these neighborhood stalls also serve as vital social hubs for local communities.

CARD MRI Managing Director Mr. Aristeo A. Dequito and Trece Martires Mayor Gemma Lubigan, along with other representatives from the local government unit, graced this important milestone. 

During the opening, the branch offers Buy 1 Take 1 deals on selected products. It holds program activities such as Zumba dancing, free product tastings, and an afternoon caravan of raffle games.

Since opening its pioneer store in San Rafael, San Pablo City, Laguna in 2023, CARD Indogrosir has expanded its stores across the CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and Oriental Mindoro. The 100th branch is located at Lot 3341 D-2-E, Marcius Avenue, Barangay Lapidario, Trece Martires, Cavite, and is open to walk-in wholesale shoppers and the general public.
