Police Regional Office 12 โ As a result of their joint effort against criminality, Police Regional Office 12 police personnel under the leadership of PBGEN ARNOLD P ARDIENTE, Regional Director successfully arrested a Top 5 Regional Most Wanted Person in Barangay Poblacion, Malungon, Sarangani Province on March 6, 2025.
The operating team composed of Malungon MPS, 1st SPMFC-SPPO, PIU-SPPO, PIU-SCPPO, and NICA 12 facilitated the negotiation that resulted in the voluntary surrender and arrest of alias โMelvieโ, 72 years old, resident of San Isidro, General Santos City and charged under Section 8 (II) of Republic Act 10168, otherwise known as The Terrorism Financing Prevention and Suppression Act of 2012.
At present, the arrested personality was placed under the custody of Malungon MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
โThis accomplishment is a result of the police forceโ relentless pursuit of justice and righteousness proving that with every crime is a corresponding punishment,โ PBGEN ARDIENTE stated.
