South Korea- Greatness starts with integrity. In Busan, South Korea, global sports leaders united with renewed fire and purpose to strengthen, protect, and intensify the movement calling for the highest standards of integrity, fair play, and clean competition during the World Conference on Doping in Sport.

“Only a safe and ethical sporting culture can support long-term athlete development and uphold the pride of a nation on the world stage,” said Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Pato Gregorio.

The Busan session tackled major amendments to the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards set to take effect on January 1, 2027. The Philippines expressed a bold pledge of full compliance, stronger grassroots-to-elite anti-doping education, and a safer, more empowered environment for every athlete, coach, and stakeholder.

“The Philippines proudly renews its commitment to this journey — guided by the 2027 Code — to shape a future where we contribute meaningfully to a worldwide sporting community built on trust, true excellence, and deep respect. In protecting clean, fair, and integrity-driven sport, we empower our champions with the best values of the human spirit,” the Chairman added.
