Kalibo Mayor Declares Suspension of Classes in All Levels

KALIBO, Aklan- Amidst the persisting blackout lasting for several hours, as the Local Chief Executive, I announce the cancellation of classes for all levels tomorrow.

The power outage that the municipality has experienced, initiated at 2 pm and ongoing till 7 pm, remains to be unresolved. Concurrently, I appeal to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines for swift action in fully restoring electricity to all barangays in Kalibo.

This preemptive notice aims to ensure parents and students are well-informed in advance of the class suspension, affecting both public and private institutions. I implore all media outlets to assist in disseminating this crucial information. Furthermore, I call upon the NGCP to provide regular updates to the public regarding the current power situation.
