KALIBO, Aklan — Now on its 22nd year, the annual Tsibugan sa Kapitolyo continues to serve as a flavorful centerpiece of the Aklan Day celebration. Running from April 25 to May 3, the week-long food festival transforms the Provincial Capitol Grounds into a vibrant night market filled with local dishes, cultural performances, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Aklan (PCCI Aklan), the event gathers local restaurants, food entrepreneurs, and processors to promote Aklanon cuisine and stimulate economic activity in the province. This year’s festival features nightly shows, drawing in crowds from various towns and boosting micro and small enterprises.\

The Tsibugan starts started April 25-May 2.

“This event is not just a celebration of Aklan’s culinary culture, but a real driver of business and tourism,” said Lloyd Macahilig, President of PCCI Aklan. “We are grateful to the Provincial Government of Aklan for their continued support in making Tsibugan a highlight of the Aklan Day festivities.”

PCCI Aklan, a chapter of the national PCCI network, continues to champion the promotion and protection of local business, reinforcing public-private partnerships for regional development.
