KALIBO, Aklan- As part of the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) and Department of Education’s Brigada Eskwela School Year 2026–2027 Campaign, the Movement of Gratitude is relaunching its Marschialle Mobile Library through Schiavie’s Project BUKLAS (Books Unite Kids to Love, Appreciate, and Share).

Maria Schiavelli Z. Guzman, or Schiavie, a Grade 4 learner in the Special Program in Journalism at Kalibo Pilot Elementary School, is the youngest member of the Movement. As the daughter of the organization’s founders, she has developed a deep sense of volunteerism, compassion, and community stewardship at an early age.

Inspired by her passion for reading and service, and under the humble mentorship of Sir Dennis E. Bontogon, Project BUKLAS was conceptualized to promote literacy, cultivate a love for reading, and bring learning opportunities closer to children and communities. The project aims to make books more accessible while encouraging volunteerism and active citizenship among young learners.

The initiative will be implemented throughout School Year 2026–2027, serving as a platform for youth engagement, literacy development, and community empowerment—reflecting the Movement of Gratitude’s continuing commitment to building a culture of service, learning, and gratitude.
