Akeanon forms friendship with Eraserheads in US

MAKATO, Aklan-  An Aklanon from Makato has formed a friendship bond with the now-legendary group Eraserheads in their recent concert in Los Angeles, California.

Tommie Mopia, who owns the TGM Group of Companies in Hollywood, told the Boracay Island News Network that he served as the line producer of the successful concert of the Eraserheads in Los Angeles. 

The Eraserheads made history as the first Filipino artists to perform in front of a packed audience at Peacock Theater on July 13. The E-Head’s World Tour Concert lasted for almost two and a half hours, performing their Original Pilipino Music (OPM) hit songs.

 

Also known as the Eheads is a Filipino rock band of the 90’s formed by Ely Buendia, Raymund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala, and Marcus Adoro. They are credited with spearheading the second wave of Manila band invasions, paving the way for a host of influential Philippine alternative rock bands.

According to HollywoodFlip, the World Tour of “Ang Huling El Bimbo 2024 Eraserheads World Tour” kicked off in San Francisco on July 12 at the Warfield Theatre, a day before the Peacock Theatre event, and also met a very enthusiastic crowd and a sold-out turn-around. The concert in Hawaii on July 6 was cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances but will be rescheduled soon. The Eraserheads 2024 World Tour is brought to you by Live Nation PH in cooperation with Tiana Entertainment.

The Eraserheads 2024 Ang Huling El Bimbo World Tour continues this weekend, July 19, at Pechanga Resort Casino, followed by July 21 at The Theatre at the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto Complex in Toronto, Canada, and July 23 in Singapore at the Singapore Expo Hall 7.
