Akeanon Navy Couple Shines at Philippine Seas

NUMANCIA, Aklan- An Aklanon couple both working at the Philippine Navy are doing well in their service to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The official facebook page of the Philippine Navy recently featured a Philippine Navy (PN) contingent led by Offshore Combat Force Chief of Staff, Commander Johanns Cruzada. Cruzada accorded the visiting Australian Navy ship and its crew members headed by their Commanding Officer, Commander Andrew Hough a welcome ceremony upon arrival at the port.

Cruzada married Cecille Tabuena of Numancia, Aklan.

Tabuena for a long time has been hailed as the legendary beach volleyball queen of the Philippines.

In the Philippine Navy report, the Australian Royal Navy visit the fortifies, the strong and long-standing relationship between the Philippines and Australia in promoting maritime safety and security in the region.

Meanwhile, Tabuena-Cruzada has also been working in the Philippine Navy for 21 years.

While in Navy, Tabuena-Cruzada is the head coach of the Philippine Navy team in volleyball for men and women. Tabulate-Cruzada also represented the Philippines in various SEA Games in the field of beach volleyball.
