Aklanon, Guimaras made by mom’s products shine at Laguna Gallery
San Pablo, Laguna- Several products made by mothers of Aklan and Guimaras shine at the gallery of mga Likha ni Inay, an affiliate of CARD-MRI in San Pablo, Laguna.
Marife Abella, the marketing director of the said gallery, told the Boracay Island News Network that the products made from these two provinces were among their best showcases. The CARD MRI is a microfinance institution that has units in Southeast Asia dedicated to poverty alleviation, helping mothers earn a living.
The CARD MRI has been inviting the BINN for three years already in their field trip for the media, along with those coming from different provinces from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The activity is dubbed as “Panaghiusa CARD MRI Publishing Lakbay Aral 2024.”
Among the items that were showcased from Aklan and Guimaras provinces are elegant, stylish, and colorful bags and coin purses. The said items are being marketed under the Likha ni Inay (created by mothers). “Behind the products are stories of creativity, determination, and hopes of mothers for a better future,” Abella added.
