MADALAG, AKLAN– Despite challenging weather conditions, the Bread & Butter Cares program successfully delivered an early Christmas celebration to the pupils of Pang-itan Elementary School in Madalag, Aklan on November 25, 2025. The “Handog Maagang Pamasko” outreach brought joy to approximately 100 pupils from Kinder to Grade 6, all together with their parents, demonstrating the bakeshop’s commitment to corporate social responsibility in hard-to-reach communities.

The Bread & Butter Cares team, together with volunteers from partners organizations Kiwanis Club of Kalibo Ati-Atihan, Kool Earth, and Aklan Food Chain Credit Cooperative, braved heavy rains and difficult travel conditions to reach the upland barangay. Their determination highlighted the program’s mission to extend help where it’s most needed.

“This is what true corporate social responsibility means to us,” said a Bread & Butter Cares representative. “Reaching our remote neighbors shows our genuine commitment to making a difference beyond our store walls.”

The collaborative effort transformed a stormy day into a festive celebration, with volunteers distributing school supplies, food packs, and toys to the pupils. The program emphasized the power of bayanihan spirit in creating meaningful change.

For the pupils and parents of Pang-itan Elementary School, the event provided not just material support but also a cherished memory of community solidarity. The successful outreach underscores Bread & Butter’s mission to build a legacy of kindness, one remote barangay at a time.
