Calizo elected as Regional Director of Vice Governors League in Westerm Visayas
KALIBO, Aklan- Aklan Vice Governor Dexter M. Calizo was elected as the Regional Director for Western Visayas (Region VI) of the League of Vice Governors of the Philippines (LVGP) during its 101st National Assembly and Elections held on July 18, 2025, at the historic Manila Hotel.
The assembly gathered hundreds of vice governors from across the country to discuss key governance initiatives, share best practices, and elect new leaders who will steer the League’s direction for the coming term.
Vice Governor Calizo, a first termer in the said position will now represent Region VI in the League’s executive board and help strengthen coordination among vice governors in the region.
The League of Vice Governors of the Philippines is a national organization that brings together vice governors to promote unity, share best practices, and support legislative development in local governments.
