ALTAVAS, Aklan- A mountaintop twin cabin and camp site have been officially opened recently at Barangay Cabatanga, Altavas, Aklan making it one of the most unique attractions in the province of Aklan.

Albert Manalo, owner of the camp site, said he is dedicating the site to all the people of Altavas, Aklan.

“We made the camp site friendly and accessible to the elderly and those Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Much especially to the pet owners for bonding and enjoying the relaxing view,” Manalo said.

The opening of the camp site coincided with the death anniversary of his pet dog, Nikki. Nikki was a Japanese spitz who died of a heart attack on December 17, 2018.

The campsite offers tents and cottages for those who want to stay overnight for a minimal fee. Visitors were asked to bring their own food and water.

The camp site is good for onsite meetings, fellowships, and even stargazing at night. It overlooked a breathtaking farmland downhill of Altavas.
