Construction worker nabbed for selling illegal firearms

A suspected gun runner is facing jail time after a buy-bust operation was hatched by the police.

The Makato PNP identified as Rodel Temporanza, 26 years old, a construction worker and resident of Tibiawan, Makato .

In a report of Barangay RU -Kalibo he was arrested at around 6pm last night at Poblacion, Makato, Aklan. A 12 gauge homemade shotgun and 3 bullets encased in a white sack were bought from the suspect in exchange for P13, 000 marked money.

Temporanza faces charges for going against RA10591 or Comprehensive law on firearms and ammunition.
