DTI-Aklan to Conduct Aklan Investment Conference

In the pursuit of providing continuous investment opportunities for Aklanon micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the Department of Trade and Industry Aklan Provincial Office will conduct an Investment Conference on 10 August 2023 at Grande Royale – Marzon Hotel, Kalibo, Aklan.

The conference will bring together investors, suppliers, and partners to promote investments for the different industry clusters in the province. Featured industries are wearables and homestyle (piña, abaca, raffia, nito), processed food, and high value coconut products (HVCP).

Invited resource speakers will talk about the wide business opportunities in store for each industry and will also share their inspiring entrepreneurship journey to inspire the participants.

Moreover, market matching and linkages will be facilitated amongst invited potential investors and MSMEs who can become their future suppliers or partners. The activity is foreseen to open investment opportunities to our local MSMEs to further develop their enterprises and cater a wider scope of clients not only the local market but also the international market.
