Mandaluyong City- Eight (8) Aklanon micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are representing the province of Aklan in this year’s DTI-Bagong Pilipinas National Trade Fair being held at the Megatrade Halls1-3, Level 5, Mega B, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City, from February 18-22, 2026.
This led to the province contributing the highest number of exhibitors from Western Visayas.
The MSMEs featured are: 1) Bandiola’s Piña Weaving; 2) Dodong and Mikay Piña Weaving; 3)Elizabeth Rasonable Piña Weaving; 4) Faith Native Products; 5) Handicraft of Aklan Multi- Purpose Cooperative (HAMPCO); 6) La Herminia Fibers and Looms; 7) Raquel’s Piña Cloth Products; and 8) Sunshine’s Breadmart.
Following the successful opening of the trade fair on February 18, the said MSMEs have highlighted
the best of Aklan products ranging from the timeless piña cloth, fabrics, and wearables, to nito
products for home decorations, up to the most delectable snacks and treats—all but a reflection
of the rich culture, unwavering passion, and homegrown flavors of Aklan.
The five-day trade fair is a national marketing platform, headed by the Department of Trade and
Industry Philippines, intended for MSMEs and other local startups to exhibit their works in order
to promote Filipino creativity, innovation, and sustainability.
