Kalibo has a new favorite gathering place with the opening of the Goding Ramos Park at the Aklan Provincial Capitol Grounds. Launched during the Christmas Lights Opening on December 8, 2025, the park instantly stood out as a modern, welcoming space for families—proof of how public projects can improve everyday life.
Designed under the leadership of Governor Joen Miraflores, this more than ₱10-million development gives Aklan a clean, safe, and beautiful park right along Osmeña Avenue, a spot everyone can easily enjoy. Children now have a dedicated playground, adults have open areas to walk, relax, or stretch, and visitors can try the unique fish spa. Nearby, food kiosks, a bus stop, and well-maintained comfort rooms add to the convenience.

Beyond its features, the park reflects a simple but important message: good governance can create spaces that bring people together. Every afternoon, you’ll see parents and kids enjoying the breeze, seniors doing light exercise, and friends stopping by after work—small scenes that show how this project is quietly strengthening community life.
As Goding Ramos Park becomes part of Kalibo’s daily rhythm, everyone is encouraged to help care for it: keep it clean, follow rules, and maintain its beauty for future generations.
Open daily until 9:00 PM, this new park is a fresh symbol of Aklan’s progress—public service transformed into a place of joy, health, and family bonding.
