GSIS and PGEA Ink Pact to Boost Program Awareness Among Government Employees

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) and the Philippine Governemtn Employees Association PGEA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish the GSIS-PGA Education and Speakers” Bureau. This strategic initiative is designed to enhance the engagement and education of government employees on the comprehensive programs and services offered by the GSIS.

The Speakers Bureau will efficiently provide essential information to PGEA members through targeted seminars, workshops, and sessions across the country.

“This initiative represents a proactive approach to educate and empower our members ensuring they have the knowledge and resources they need to secure their future and enhance their overall well-being,” President and General Manager Wick Veloso said.

PGEA national President Esperanza S. Ocampo for her part, expressed ther enthusiasm for the initiative. :The Education and pekers’ Bureau allows us to effectively cascade the latest GSIS  developments to our members, significantly widening the reach of information. This enhanced awareness will empower our members to fully understand and utilize their benefits,”  Ocampo said.

Under the agreement, the GSIS will provide experts and resources to support the establishment and maintenance of the  joint Education and Speakers’ Bureau, develop and distribute educational materials on GSIS programs, train and deploy speakers for educational seminars and facilitate the Annual GSIS Members Conference.

PGEA will assists in developing educational content and promotional materials, promote GSIS programs and  events through various communication channels, coordinate logistics for speaking engagements and educational worksops, and act as ambassadors of GSIS programs to ensure effective desimination of infirmation to members.

The launch of the GSIS-PGEA Education and Speakers’ Bureau marks a significant step forward in the commitment of both organizations to improve the lives of government employees across the contry.

PGEA is the national umbrella organization of public sector workers and unions in the Philippines. It is committed to empower public servants, improve the working conditions, and enhance their overall quality  of life through comprehensive advocacy and support programs.
