Hayahay to defend Nego Parada Crown

KALIBO, Aklan—The Hayahay Seafoods Grill will defend its title as Nego Parada Champion from last year.
The Nego Parada is part of the annual Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-atihan Festival which culminates January 13-19. Slated on January 15, it showcases the ingenuity and creativity of the businesses.

In 2024, the Palawan Pawnshop came in second place, and the Village Motors Trading Float (VMT Next Gen) came in third.

This year, around 20 businesses are joining the revelry. The first prize of this year’s competition will be P30,000; the second prize will be P20,000 and the third  P10,000. A P5,000 consolation prize is also at stake.

The said Nego Parada is organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Aklan chapter in cooperation with the local government of Kalibo, the Municipal Tourism Office and the Kalibo Ati-atihan Festival Board (KAFEB).
