Hinuguran It Akeanon Trade Fair Recognizes Aklanon Heritage in the 70th Aklan Day Celebration
Kalibo, Aklan- In celebration of the 70th Aklan Day, the Department of Trade and Industry Aklan Provincial Office, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Aklan, will be conducting the 3rd Hinuguran It Akeanon Trade Fair on April 23 – 30, 2026 at the Aklan Trade Hall, Capitol Grounds, Estancia, Kalibo, Aklan.
The marketing event reflects this year’s theme: “Pagpadayon it Aton Panublion: 70 Years of Aklanon Heritage, Pride and Progress.” It will showcase the Hinuguran Village – a curated setup that will engage the visitors to a festive, cultural-based experience while representing the best of the province including premium pina fabric-based items, handicrafts, home décors, fashion accessories and food products, produced by our 94 innovative Aklanon micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Moreover, eight (
companies as institutional buyers have been invited to attend the trade fair and visit selected production sites of our Aklanon MSME producers including: 1) Rustan’s; 2) Tesoro’s Handicrafts; 3) Kingsmen Bespoke; 4) Onesimus Corporation; 5) Gillette International; 6) Joann Bitagcol; 7) Our Handmade Heritage; and EPG Enterprises.

It will be followed by a Fashion Show at 7:00pm to showcase the world-renowned Aklan piña fabric, presented through contemporary pieces designed by our local fashion designers.
