Malay PNP Manhunt Ops Nets Two Suspects

The Malay PNP under the leadership of PLTCOL DON DICKSIE L DE DIOS, Chief of Police, nabbed two (2) Wanted Persons during two separate manhunt operations at Bgy. Cogon, Malinao, Aklan and Bgy. Kabulihan, Malay, Aklan this week.

Malay operatives armed with warrant of arrest with C.C no. 16250-M for violation of QUALIFIED THEFT issued and signed by HON. RONALD H EXMUNDO, presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region Branch 4, Kalibo Aklan dated June 6, 2022 with fixed bail bond of Php 120,000.00. The said wanted person was arrested at Brgy. Cogon, Malinao, Aklan morning June 22, 2022.

Meanwhile, on the morning of June 23, 2022 another manhunt operation was launched that resulted to the arrest of wanted person at Brgy. Kabulihan, Malay, Aklan. The said wanted person has a warrant of arrest for the crime of RAPE under Art. 266 A(1), RPC with CC number 2022-3-9-13, with NO bail recommended signed by HON. SERGIO T. ANGNGANAY, JR., Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court, Br. 36, Bontoc, Mountain Province, dated March 17, 2022.

“I commend our operatives for their relentless efforts during the extensive manhunt operations bringing the arrested wanted persons to the folds of justice. We assure the public that we will continue to locate, arrest and put behind bars those who are hiding and are held accountable by law.” PLTCOL DE DIOS said.

The accused were brought to Malay Police Station for documentation and proper disposition. (Malay PNP-PCR)
