Gusto ko lang pala i-play backwards ang mga pangyayari sa buhay ko. Hindi dahil may namimiss akong senaryo kundi gusto kong malaman kung paano iibahin ang kwento.
There are stories of riding a car, a tricycle, and just walking barefooted.
In riding a car, lahat ng comfort nasa iyo. But you’re just a common passenger waiting for the driver to drop you off at a certain destination.
In a tricycle, may mga inconveniences kang mararanasan. You’re not a simple passenger. You pay a fare. Minsan sobra pa sa naka-impose na minimum. Hindi dahil meron kang sobra but because you just want to give everything. Hindi mo kasi naisip ang magtira para sa sarili mo because you were waiting for them to morally reciprocate. Yun lang, each person has different hearts.
Meanwhile, walking barefooted taught me a lesson. You don’t need to hurry, or worry about getting lost along the way. You just walk, stop at a certain point, and continue walking until you reach a destination.
Sa ngayon, she just stood there. Waiting for her inner child to say, “Let’s go! It’s time to run and play.”
