Palawan Float Champs Nego Parada 2025

KALIBO, Aklan- The float of the Palawan Pawnshop was declared as the champion of this year’s Nego Parada- one of the highlights of the Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-atihan Festival 2025.

The float highlights the native design, suggesting environmental conservation. ‘Pikoy, the Palawan Pawnshop’s famous mascot, was seen atop the float during the parade tilt.

The Nego Parada organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Aklan in cooperation with the local government of Kalibo, the Municipal Tourism Office, the Kalibo Municipal Police, and the Kalibo Festival Board (KAFEB).

The Palawan Pawnshop bags P30,000 as first prize, the second prize P20,000 went to the Kalibo Festival Hotel and the third is MARB Concept whose float name was the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA).

The Marianing’s Solane garnered the consolation prize of P5,000.

PCCI-Aklan President Engr. Loyd Macahilig commended those who joined the colorful nego-parada event in its third year.
Kalibo Mayor Juris Sucro told the Boracay Island News Network that the ati-atihan festival will be more colorful and exciting next year.
