PBGen Ardiente joins judiciary-led dialogue on security risks and safety of the bench and bar
๐ฃ๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ฎ – Under the leadership of PBGEN ARNOLD P ARDIENTE, Regional Director, PRO 12 participated in the Dialogues and Focused-Group Discussions on Security Risks and Safety of the Bench and Bar held on November 12, 2025, at The Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City.
The activity, organized by the Office of the Executive Judge, was conducted pursuant to the directive of Acting Chief Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen under Special Order No. 3223 dated September 18, 2025, in line with the Judiciaryโs commitment to safeguard judges, court personnel, and the public.
The dialogue gathered Executive Judges from General Santos City and South Cotabato, along with officers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), court security personnel, and representatives from law enforcement agencies.
The event served as a collaborative platform to identify and assess local security concerns affecting the legal community and the courts, develop actionable safety measures, and strengthen coordination with law enforcement agencies.
Mr. Eric B. Distor, Deputy Marshal for Mindanao and former Officer-in-Charge of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), graced the event and shared insights on the ongoing initiatives of the Office of the Judiciary Marshals (OJM) in ensuring the protection of members of the Bench and the Bar.
PBGEN ARDIENTE reaffirmed the support of Police Regional Office 12 to the Judiciaryโs efforts, emphasizing the importance of inter-agency collaboration in promoting justice and public safety.
