The three-day intensive training from November 13 to 15, 2023, brought together participants from diverse Cebu-based construction firms. The workshop’s primary focus was to empower these industry professionals with essential mentorship skills geared towards elevating the productivity of their respective companies. The workshop facilitated a dynamic exchange of industry insights and best practices, fostering collaboration and innovation within the construction sector.

By creating a supportive network among key players in the construction industry, the workshop aimed to encourage the sharing of expertise and insights, contributing significantly to the sector’s growth, sustainability, and skills development.

Also supporting the event is the Philippine Construction Manpower Development Foundation (CMDF). Ms. Penny Usigan, CMDF’s Officer-in-Charge, was the lead assessor during the assessment day on November 16, 2023.

Reflecting on the accomplishment, Marlon Miña, Executive Director of PCCIHRDF, remarked, “The success of the second Company-to-Company Mentorship workshop underscores the unwavering commitment of PCCIHRDF and its partners to fostering growth and excellence within the construction industry. By enhancing mentorship skills, we are confident that the participating companies will experience a positive ripple effect, contributing to the industry’s overall advancement.”

This workshop served as a platform for professional development and a testament to the dedication of PCCIHRDF, GIZ, and CMDF in driving positive change within the construction sector. The collaborative efforts of these organizations highlight the importance of fostering a culture of mentorship and knowledge-sharing for the industry’s continued progress.
