Boracay Island- Tourism sports advocate Rylo ‘Starboy’ Tumbukon is holding a year-end futsal tournament Men open tournament in Boracay. This event is in cooperation with the Boracay Football Club (BFC).
Tumbukon said the event will occur on December 28 at the Barangay Manocmanoc, Plaza Boracay.
“This exciting event is the perfect way to cap off the year with energy, passion, and sportsmanship. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just someone who loves the game, this tournament is for you!,” Tumbukon said.
“Gather your teammates, lace up your shoes, and prepare for an unforgettable day of futsal action. This is your chance to showcase your skills, network with fellow football enthusiasts, and create lasting memories on and off the court,” Tumbukon said.
Futsal is a football-based sport played on a hardcourt like a basketball court, smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football.
For only a P1,000 registration fee, a team can win P5,000 for the champion; P3,000 for the first runner-up, and P1,000 for the second runner-up. Trophies and certificates will also be given to the winners.
“I also invite Aklanons to come and join the said event,” he added.
