Tibyog Akean hits record high endgame result

The endgameof the May 9, 2022 elections have shown the strong grasp of the TIBYOG AKEAN party in Aklanon politics.
In a report by Ann Deslene Salazar for Brigada News Kalibo, This is after the record breaking 85 thousand votes garnered by Governor-elect Jose Enrique “Joen” M. Miraflores against his rival, former Kalibo Mayor William S. Lachica.
This is the highest margin of victory a gubernatorial candidate has achieved since TIBYOG AKEAN was created in 1995.
This can also be said of the 51 thousand votes amassed by Re-elected Vice Governor, Atty. Reynaldo “Boy” M. Quimpo against radio manager Jonathan M. Cabrera.
This is also the highest winning margin for a vice-governor since 1995. Tibyog also claimed 10 out of 10 Board Member positions for both the Eastern and Western sides.
Some 15 out of the 17 mayoralty spots across all municipalities of Aklan, which is also considered another record for the local political party.
