𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐈-𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐒𝐒 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞

New Washington, Aklan – On September 15, 2023, Kalahi-CIDSS (Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services) in collaboration with the Municipal Inter-Agency Technical Committee (MIAC) completed a thorough technical review of essential documents required for the allocation of funds for select projects within the municipality. Ms. Deoralyn Barrera, the Community Empowerment Facilitator of KALAHI CIDDS, expressed gratitude to all participants, while Hon. Jessica Regenio-Panambo, the Municipal Mayor of New Washington, delivered a warm welcome address.

During the event, Mr. John Marlou B. Salido, the Area Coordinator, provided a concise overview, highlighting the purpose of the gathering: to ensure the accuracy of all documents and allow all parties involved to review them before submission to regional and national offices. Mr. Salido reiterated the commitment of the MIAC to assist in the process.

Subsequently, the aforementioned documents were formally endorsed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Jessica Regenio-Panambo and the respective Punong Barangays (village chiefs) of Guinbaliwan, Jalas, Lawaan, Poblacion, and Polo. Following this, Mr. Salido delivered a brief message on the future steps to be taken.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Engr. Denes R. Casugbu, the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator.
