
KALIBO Aklan—The Kiwanis Club of Ati-atihan is once again conducting its annual Young Artist On-the-Spot Competition, now in its fifth year.
On their Facebook page, the contest is open to all currently enrolled students in accredited elementary and high school students in the province.
The said event will be staged on January 28. The awarding of winners will be on January 31 this year.
This year’s theme is centered on the ‘Beauty of Aklan’ where participants could visualize beautiful places and iconic landmarks in the province; opportunities and natural wonders of Aklan; and the rich cultural history of Ati-atihan.
The said event will be staged the whole day at the Citymall Activity Center. Deadline of registration of participants will be on January 25.
The first-prize winner will receive P3,000 in cash and packages from the sponsors; P2,000 for second prize plus loot bags from the sponsors; and P1,000 in cash for the third prize and packages from the sponsors and partners.
The organizers said there will also be ten consolation prizes to be given away in the said competition.
