James Bond Girl to return to Boracay to celebrate New Year’s Eve

BORACAY Island- Rachel Louise Grant de Longueuil, known to many as Rachel Grant, has told the Boracay Island News Network that she will be in Boracay soon to celebrate New Year’s Revelry.

Grant first visited Boracay in 2017. While in Boracay, she enjoyed eating ‘balut’ (duck embryo). She also visited the ati’s (indigenous people), Maya Restaurant for a Boodle Fight, and experienced being a mermaid in the Philippine Mermaid Academy, among others.

Grant is known as a James Bond girl in the 2002 movie “Die Another Day,” with British actor Pierce Brosnan and U.S. actress Halle Berry. She also appeared as Maria Ronson in the film “Until Death” with Belgian martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Recently, Grant was in Gatlinburg’s Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade in Tennessee, USA. The James Bond float, presented by Hollywood Star Cars, features the BMW Z8 from The World Is Not Enough.

Grant said she will be in Boracay from December 28, 2023 to January 2, 2024.
