DTI Region VI Highlights the Best of Aklanon Products in Panubli-on 2024

KALIBO, Aklan- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 6 is set to stage the annual Panubli- on 2024 Trade Fair on November 13-17, 2024 at the Activity Center of SM City Iloilo, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. It will be featuring the best of locally-made products from Western Visayas — Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo and Negros Occidental.

This year’s theme, “Panubli-on 2024: The Power of Local Creativity!” aims to elevate the local culture and craftsmanship in the region along with the innovative designs and products of each province in their respective pavilions.

The participating micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will be spotlighted in Aklan’s pavilion to boost the priority industry sectors. The display will consist of loomwoven fabrics and wearables made of piña and other indigenous fibers, fashion accessories, gifts, furnishings, decorative crafts, food products and footwear, among others.

Other side activities will be held including a food crawl in support to Iloilo City’s award as UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy and a Grand Fashion Show which will focus on the unique collections by our local MSMEs.

Panubli-on 2024 is an annual regional marketing activity of DTI Region 6 which intends to exhibit the heritage of the local industries in Western Visayas as well as to preserve the timeless craftsmanship of MSMEs while continuously innovating through the years.
