KALIBO, Aklan- The 4th Hinuguran it Akeanon Trade Fair, held last April 23 to 30, at the Aklan Trade Hall, Capitol Grounds, Kalibo, Aklan, concluded with resounding successโ showcasing the creativity,
resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit of Aklanon micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The eight-day trade fair generated total sales of โฑ25.059 million, surpassing this yearโs target of
โฑ25 million. The total consists of โฑ8.459 million in cash sales and โฑ16.600 million in booked
sales. This achievement highlights the growing demand for Aklanon-made products and the
strong support from both local consumers and institutional buyers.
Compared with previous years, the 2026 total sales reflect a significant increase of โฑ4.356 million
or 21.04% from โฑ20.703 million recorded in 2025 and โฑ18.250 million in 2024, further
demonstrating the continued growth and expanding market reach of Aklanon enterprises.

trade fair and supported local entrepreneurs by purchasing and promoting Aklanon-made
products. Their overwhelming support significantly contributed to the success of the activity and

products and other innovative creations, the Hinuguran It Akeanon Trade Fair continues to serve
as a platform for MSMEs to expand their networks, increase visibility, and promote sustainable
economic growth in the province.
The outstanding results of this yearโs fair reaffirms the big potential of homegrown local enterprises and promoting their products to both local and institutional markets.
