Joint home visitation conducted in New Washington

N3W VWashington, Aklan- The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VI (DSWD FO VI), through the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) and the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), conducted a joint home visitation in Brgy. Jalas, Brgy. Ochando, and Brgy. Fatima in the Municipality of New Washington, Aklan.

The home visitation was led by Aklan SWAD Team Leader Rovi Christine V. Gonzales, together with PDO II Shelica Cheyene T. Carillo, and SFP staff Pamela H. Arogadie RND, Gee Irish J. Carmona RND, Kyla Mae Faelmaren RND, and Reina Joy A. Bascuña, SWO II.

The activity aimed to assess the living conditions and needs of beneficiary families, strengthen inter-program collaboration, and identify appropriate interventions to improve their overall well-being.

Through these home visits, the team was able to engage directly with families, gain a better understanding of their circumstances, and recommend necessary support, including nutrition and livelihood interventions./jes
