DSWD6, LGU Libacao Align Efforts To Strengthen Social Service

Libacao- The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VI (DSWD6) strengthened its partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Libacao through the Municipal Convergence Committee (MCC) Meeting, bringing together program implementers and local stakeholders to enhance the delivery of social welfare and development services.

The meeting served as a venue to assess the implementation of DSWD programs in the municipality, share accomplishments, and discuss challenges and collaborative solutions. Updates were presented by the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), PAMANA LGU-led Program, KALAHI-CIDSS, Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP), and Social Pension Program.

Assistant Regional Director for Operations Katherine Joy M. Lamprea and Officer-in-Charge Policy and Plans Division Chief Roxie A. Abagatnan joined the meeting to support the discussions and engage with local partners. ARDO Lamprea acknowledged the LGU of Libacao’s continued commitment, emphasizing that the success of DSWD programs is made possible through strong collaboration with local government and other stakeholders.
