KALIBO, Aklan- The Movement of Gratitude proudly participated in the Aklan Bayanihan Volunteerism Grand Launch, joining fellow volunteer organizations, government agencies, and community partners in promoting the spirit of bayanihan and volunteerism.
As one of the invited organizations, the Movement showcased its advocacy through its booth and connected with visitors who share its vision of building stronger communities through volunteer service. The organization remains committed to the belief that volunteerism is a powerful force for positive change and community development.
The Movement also expressed its gratitude to everyone who purchased its fundraising products during the event. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support the upcoming MG Journalism and Volunteerism Symposium on July 18 at the McDonald’s Estancia Branch.
As part of the day’s activities, Movement Founder and Adviser, Kalibo Sangguniang Bayan Member Matt Aaron Peren Guzman, donated blood in support of the event’s life-saving blood donation initiative. Guzman has been a voluntary blood donor for nearly two decades, reflecting the organization’s commitment to serving the community beyond its regular programs and activities.
The Movement extends its heartfelt thanks to the Provincial Government of Aklan, the Aklan Provincial Planning and Development Office, and the Aklan Provincial Volunteerism Core Team for the invitation. It also expresses its appreciation to everyone who visited the booth, supported the fundraiser, and joined in promoting a culture of volunteerism.
