Kalibo, Aklan- As part of its Munting Gawain: Adopt a Day Care Project, the Movement of Gratitude brought nourishment and smiles to 80 young learners from the Estancia Centro and Estancia Ilaya Child Development Centers (CDCs) through a feeding program held on July 14 at the Estancia Covered Court.

The children enjoyed a warm serving of sopas, along with juice, bread, fresh apples, and candies. Each learner also received a pencil to support their learning as they continue their early childhood education.

The activity highlights the Movement’s continuing advocacy of promoting health and helping raise healthier children. By providing nutritious meals and encouraging healthy habits, the organization hopes to contribute to the children’s growth, well-being, and readiness to learn.

More than the food that was shared, the program was a reminder that simple acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. Seeing the smiles and joy of the young learners made the day even more rewarding for everyone involved.

The Movement extends its heartfelt gratitude to its generous sponsors and partners—Stronghold, Ms. Dino, Grains of Joy, Shakur 13th—for making this activity possible. Sincere appreciation is also extended to all the Movement members and volunteers who generously shared their time and effort in preparing and serving the meals.

As the Movement continues its Adopt a Day Care Project, it remains committed to reaching more communities and creating opportunities to serve. Through the support of kind-hearted partners and volunteers, the movement hopes to continue inspiring a culture of gratitude, compassion, and service.
