Female Board-Certified Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Donna Borres-Eramis Opens Independent Practice in Cebu City
The new Cebu clinic combines Dr. Borres-Eramis’ experience in Manila with personalized treatment planning, physician-led care, and surgical and non-surgical aesthetic procedures under one practice.
CEBU CITY, Philippines โ Female representation remains limited within cosmetic surgery, particularly among board-certified practitioners establishing independent practices outside Metro Manila. Against this backdrop, Cebu-born cosmetic surgeon Dr. Donna Borres-Eramis has opened D’Sculpt Face & Body Center, bringing her experience in Manila’s aesthetic medicine and cosmetic surgery sector back to her home region.
Dr. Borres-Eramis is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon with the Philippine Academy of Aesthetic Surgery (PAAS). While PAAS maintains a national roster of its fellows, publicly available records do not provide a gender and geographic breakdown that would establish the exact number of female board-certified cosmetic surgeons currently practicing in Cebu.
Her presence nevertheless adds to female representation in a highly specialized area of medicine while expanding access to credentialed, physician-led cosmetic care for patients in Cebu and surrounding areas.
โBoard certification isn’t just a title. It means every recommendation I make, whether surgical or non-surgical, is grounded in training, safety standards, and accountability,โ said Dr. Borres-Eramis. โI wanted Cebu to have that option without patients needing to leave the city.โ
Bringing Manila Experience Home to Cebu
A Cebu native, Dr. Borres-Eramis developed her experience in aesthetic medicine and cosmetic surgery through years of training and practice in Metro Manila.
She established D’Sculpt after recognizing an opportunity to bring the standards, treatment planning, and clinical practices she developed in Manila closer to patients in her home region.
While she continues to practice in Manila, D’Sculpt is Dr. Borres-Eramis’ independently established Cebu practice rather than a satellite clinic or franchise.
โThis isn’t a satellite office or a franchise. D’Sculpt is mine. It’s everything I’ve learned, built specifically for the community I come from,โ Dr. Borres-Eramis said.
A Program-Based Approach to Aesthetic Care
D’Sculpt is designed around comprehensive assessment and structured treatment planning rather than treating aesthetic procedures as isolated services.
Patients begin with a consultation that considers their individual concerns, anatomy, aesthetic goals, and treatment needs. Dr. Borres-Eramis and her team can then develop a personalized care plan that may combine or sequence appropriate treatments over time.
The clinic provides non-surgical aesthetic services including skin rejuvenation, injectables, laser treatments, and body contouring, alongside cosmetic surgical procedures.
Having both surgical and non-surgical options within the practice also allows treatment recommendations to be based on what is appropriate for the patient rather than being limited to a single category of aesthetic treatment.
Expanding Access to Cosmetic Surgery in Cebu
The opening of D’Sculpt reflects the continued growth of physician-led aesthetic medicine beyond Metro Manila and gives Cebu patients another option for accessing cosmetic surgery and advanced aesthetic treatments closer to home.
For Dr. Borres-Eramis, however, opening the clinic is also personal: an opportunity to bring the experience she developed in Manila back to the community where she started.
D’Sculpt Face & Body Center is now accepting consultations at its Cebu City location.
