Altavasnon holds Painting Exhibit at Museo it Akean

KALIBO, Aklan- A native of Altavas, Aklan who is making waves in visual artistry has exhibited his painting at the Museo it Akean since May 12, 2026.

Dubbed as ‘Echoes of Nature’, artist Aurelio ‘Pintz’ Pintor, his collection of paintings that captures the unique nature of Australia and the Philippines. His exhibit will run until June 12, 2026.

Pintor, though he was raised from a family of farmers in Altavas, his love for painting brought him to Australia.

According to Rommel Constantino, the curator of the Museo it Akean, Started to draw and paint in elementary school inspired by his older brotherโ€™s pocket book full of drawings and sketches.

He later became an Overseas Filipino Worker to support his dream of being an artist and later on migrated to Australia.

Pintor started using oil as medium in early 2015.

Constantino said Pintor has made a solo exhibition at San Beda College Alabang museum. Joined several group exhibitions on various art galleries in Manila and Australia. A realist painter whose works were inspired by master artists like Rembrandt, Bouguereau, Amorsolo, Juan Luna and Hidalgo.

In early 2026 he Set up his own studio and gallery โ€œ Pintor Art Studioโ€ in Man-up, Altavas, Aklan for locals to have more access for his paintings and may inspire talents and other aspiring artists.
