
Iloilo City- An American based in Iloilo City has launched today his own jazz composition dubbed as ‘It’s too late to get me back.’
Paul Chatman, a professional saxophonist said that the latest release will be made available to the public July 4, 2022 as part of the Independence Day celebration of the United States of America.
“The video will also be available on YouTube channel on the same date,” Chatman told the Boracay Island News Network.
“This composition is about a woman who has fallen out of love due to heartaches and claiming back her independence as a woman. The video shows the main character with many friends laughing and shows her enjoying herself. Although her relationship life is complicated. She finds herself ending the relationship and through the struggle she claims back her independence again,” he added.
This production was recorded and filmed in Iloilo. Bev Saraza – lead vocalist Paul Chatman -Saxophone, Ramon Tenorio -keyboards, drum programming, recording engineer Relex Macairan – keyboards Kilayco -Guitar Writers and Composers Paul Chatman and Daron Steward.
In November last year, Chatman also publishes another song in collaboration with the Ilonggo artists as part of his 65th birthday. Among those local engineers tapped were Ramon Tenorio and Vernon Gopun.
The studio tapped were that of Pomm studios “The songs is dubbed as A Night for Dancing” This is an up-tempo salsa song that will make you dance. Klite Candelario and I are singing this duet.
Soon to be on all digital streaming platforms and the video for the song will be released very soon after the 27th premier,” Chatman told this writer in an interview.
Chatman became a prominent musician in this city after he invented the famous Stephen Speaks band here for a concert in January 2018.
