Bread and Butter Bakeshop revived awarding in Best Franchisee

KALIBO, Aklan—The Bread and Butter Bakeshop has revived its tradition of giving awards to their franchisees, which for the past year 2023 has manifested dedication and showcased best practices, making their franchise grow.

John Guidon Macciri Dela Cruz, the founder of the Bread and Butter Bakeshop based in this Ati-atihan town, said that the awarding of franchisees was suspended in the previous years because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The awarding ceremony was now in its seventh year.

“Based on our records, the majority of the sales earned in the previous years came from those franchisees. The franchise is therefore important to the growth of the brand of Bread and Butter,” he told the audience in an award ceremony held at the Kalibo Festival Hotel on January 19.

The Inventory Wizard Award was given to Francesca Sanchez as Runner Up and Dr Carlan Eliserio as they exhibited excellent inventory management skills through ensuring top-selling products are always in stock and incurred minimal stockouts throughout the year.

The Franchise Rookie of the Year Award was also grabbed by Josephine Sobrino in recognition of her exemplary performance as a new franchisee who already made a positive contribution to the brand in different areas during her first term of operation.

While the franchise of the year award was handed to Nelda Tumbukon, who has shown exemplary performance in all areas of the business, is consistently fair to all employees, collaborates with Bread and Butter Management, and has supported the initiatives of the brand.
