DILG-Aklan Lauds Kalibo Federation of CSO’

KALIBO, Aklan- The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Aklan has lauded the institutionalized Kalibo Federation of Civil Society Organization for its unity and voluntary service.

Raymundo Palanog, cluster head of the DILG-Aklan cites the relevance of the civil society groups in community especially in Kalibo.
:You are all working as a volunteers. Yet you play an important role in community building. I hope you will stay vigilant in your responsibilities in the name of public service,” he said.

The Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) are empowered to play a significant role in supplementing government efforts to uplift, empower, and protect the vulnerable, disadvantaged, and marginalized sectors of Philippine Society.

Palanog during the activity also inducted the new set of officers. They were:

Business Manager: Pastor Edwin Badones (Glad Tidings New Life Incorporated)
Public Information Officer Rollet Resoles (Bulwang Old Fisher folk Association)
