KALIBO, Aklan- A total of 12,782 local employments and 3,769 job abroad await qualified job seekers in the synchronized Handog ng Pangulo Job Fair in the different venues around the region on September 13, 2024.ย
With the theme Serbisyong Tapat Para sa Lahat, the job fair is participated by 58 local companies and 15 overseas recruitment agencies expected to offer vacancies in the following venues:

b.ย ย ย ย Antique-ย Binirayan Gymnasium, Binirayan Sports Complex, San Jose, Antique
c.ย ย ย ย Capiz-ย ย ย Activity Area, Robinsionโs Roxas, Brgy. Lawa-an, Roxas City, Capiz
d.ย ย ย ย Guimaras – Guimaras Provincial Capitol Grounds, San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras
e.ย ย ย ย Iloilo- Casa Real de Iloilo, Provincial Capitol, General Luna Street. Iloilo City
f.ย ย ย ย ย Negros Occidental- Activity Center, Ayala Malls, Bacolod City
Apart from the job opportunities, the activity also highlights the releasing of over Php56.2M TUPAD assistance to 13,216 informal workers across the region. The employment assistance package includes wages, personal protective equipment and GSIS personal accident insurance to all the beneficiaries.
Regional Director Atty. Sixto T. Rodriguez, Jr. is calling for support to the Kadiwa ng Pangulo centers that offers quality and fresh products to augment the livelihood for the local producers who are mostly from the informal and marginalized sector of the society.
A total of Php18,292,560 livelihood assistance will also be released to ten (10) workers group and to benefit a total of 691 member-beneficiaries who are farmers, tricycle drivers and parents of child laborers.ย
