
Boracay Island, Aklan- The famous Halo-halo of Chowking is now on its way as the ‘Pambansang Halohalo ng Pilipinas’.
This as Ken Linga, Chowking President, said that their famous halo-halo has 13 ingredients taken from various parts of the Philippines.
Lingan was in Boracay last Saturday to personally join the pop-up event of Chowking. The said event through a mini-performance of BGYO, a trending Pinoy Pop Group.
“The pop-up event in Boracay was our last halo-halo campaign for this summer. For the past few months, we have visited various tourism destinations in the country, which include La Union and the Mall of Asia,” he said at the Seawind Resort here.
Joining Lingan were executives from Chowking and their elite marketing team. Among those who joined were Kristine Wong-Chowking Marketing Officer in Charge; Ariane Valinton- Brand Marketing Director of Chowking; and Gio Martin, Brand Manager for Chowking Halo-halo.
Chowking currently has more than 500 branches nationwide.
Among their Halohalo’s 13 ingredients were banana, beans, ube jam, buco, tapioca pearl, caramel flan, and ube ice cream.
