Before I begin with my speech, I would like to acknowledge the presence of my very active and hands-on partner in Public Service Vice Mayor Cynthia Dela Cruz, the ever supportive Sangguniang Bayan Members, to our Provincial Officials led by our Governor Joen Miraflores and Vice Governor Atty. Reynaldo Boy Quimpo, special thank you to our 16 Kalibo Barangay Captains and Barangay Officials who are our partners in implementing our development agenda, our different stakeholders, and to our national government agency partners, to the business sector, the civil society organizations, the academe, the religious community, and our media partners, and most specially to our hardworking LGU Kalibo Department Heads and Employees ladies and gentlemen good afternoon.
I have now served as the local chief executive of the Ati-Atihan town of Kalibo for 100 days. Although it seems like it has been a very long time, my adventure has just begun.
The period of adjustment is over, so it’s time to keep working hard because there is still much for us to do. Development is within reach when a local government has a clear vision.
Having a vision enables us to serve our community with more clarity and efficiency. As your town Mayor, serving the Kalibonhons and advancing the community will always be my top priority. My dear Kalibonhons, it is with great honor and humility that I present to you the journey that we have shared in my first 100 days.
