Malinao, Aklan- JCI Aklan Kalantiao led another meaningful community outreach through Project Heartwork & Dreamwork in Brgy. Osman, Malinaoโbringing health services, learning activities, and moments of joy to families in this remote area. The project became a touching reminder of what teamwork and compassion can achieve.
To help fuel the mission, Bread & Butter Bakeshop provided snacksโBanana Sweet Rolls and Ube Ensaymadaโshared with senior citizens, children, barangay officials, our volunteer partners, and the hardworking teams on the ground. This simple support added comfort and warmth throughout the day.
The medical mission served 85 senior citizens and 100 children, who also received free medicines and hygiene kits. Health and nutrition talks were held, along with storytelling sessions that encouraged children to care for the environment and dream big for their future. Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of the Philippines offered free haircuts, making the event even more helpful for the community.

Bread & Butterโs snacks were also enjoyed by volunteers from Kiwanis Club of Kalibo Inc., Kalibo Integrated Special Education Center, Motor Klasik Philippines, and JJC Aklanโgroups that helped make the project successful.
A special part of the mission was the house-to-house visits to elders who could not cross the river or navigate the rough terrain. Volunteers personally delivered medical servicesโand even snacksโto bedridden and mobility-challenged residents.
With JCI Aklan Kalantiao leading the way, and partners working hand in hand, Project Heartwork & Dreamwork became a true celebration of community, compassion, and service.
Small acts of kindness, when shared together, truly reach far places.
