Lists of financial support from the office of Cong. Ted Haresco

TANGALAN, Aklan—Second district Representative Teodorico Haresco is serving as the congressman for two terms starting in 2019 in the Western District of Aklan.

He is currently the chairman of the committee on economic affairs. He is using his influence to lobby, especially in Malacañang, to help Akeanons who are in need.

Many times, the Congressman not only supports the residents of the Western District but all Akeanons as well.

Among his funding sources are those whom he considered friends: President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Senator Bong Go, and Department of Labor and Employment Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma.

Also included in his source are the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Commission on Higher Education.

“I want Akeanons to visit me in my office not only during election times but every time I am in Aklan,” he frequently said in his public sorties.

These are the lists of financial assistance every Akeanon could request from the congressman. Some of those services are provided by Congressman Haresco using his personal money, as he is a businessman.

Education:
-Available scholarships, especially for those college students who are studying medicine, science and technology-related courses, or engineering.
Requirements: Must pass the exam offered by the Congressional District Office.
Benefits: Annual stipend to cover full tuition fees in Metro Manila, Iloilo, and Kalibo.

Health:

Medical assistance to zero bills is available at the Dr. Rafael S. Tumbukon Memorial Hospital, Panay, Panay Health Care Hospital, National Kidney Institute, Philippine General Hospital, Western Visayas Medical Center (Iloilo), or even Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (Bacolod).
Requirement: Doctor’s diagnosis Benefits: Zero billing, and he also provides P5,000 and up in transportation money if the patient needs to be transported outside Aklan.

Congressman Haresco also provides assistance for burials and other miscellaneous expenses and needs as needed by any Akeanons.
To avail, one should do a personal visit at his office in Barangay Dumatad, Tangalan Aklan.

Also, Haresco provides several support to the communities such as Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers (TUPAD), relief food packages during calamities among others.
